When I right click on the Group folder I want to delete, the only things that come up are a list: Mark all as read, copy email to address, open in new tab, and add to favorites. No delete comes up

    Hello DavidM48,

I'm Shalom and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Here are general steps for removing a Group folder in Outlook:

    • Open Outlook: Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
    • Go to the Navigation Pane: Look for the Navigation Pane on the left side of the Outlook window.
    • Find the Group: Locate the Group folder you want to remove in the Navigation Pane. It may be listed under "Groups" or as a separate entry.
    • Right-click on the Group: Right-click on the Group folder you want to remove.
    • Select "Delete": From the context menu that appears, select the option that says "Delete" or "Remove." This action may prompt a confirmation dialog box.
    • Confirm the Deletion: Confirm that you want to delete the group and its contents. Be aware that this action is usually irreversible, and you won't be able to recover the group or its data.
    • Repeat for Subfolders: If there are subfolders within the Group folder, you may need to repeat the process to delete them individually.
    • Empty the Deleted Items folder: Once you have deleted the group and its subfolders, you may also want to empty the "Deleted Items" folder to permanently remove the items.

The steps could vary slightly based on the version of Outlook you're using.

    Best Regards, Shalom
