When I send an email with a delivery confirmation through Outlook, after sending I receive a message like this: Delivery to these recipients or groups is complete, but no delivery notification was sent by the destination server

My question is does a person I send an email to receive it?

    Hello Eddie Pavlovsky,

    Good day!

To answer your query, Yes, the recipient should receive the email even if you receive a message stating that no delivery notification was sent by the destination server. Most likely the destination server or email provider for the certain user doesn't support sending delivery receipts or the user declined or turned them off.

In case you have any further queries, please let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.

    Hello Eddie Pavlovsky,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

My apologies. Must have misquoted you there. Delivery receipts are handled and sent by the destination email server and not controlled via outlook. In this case, the message was delivered to the recipient, but the destination server did not send or doesn't support delivery notifications. The user can only turn off read receipts in outlook under Mail tracking options (File >Options >Mail).

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.
