Is there any way to show which folders contain flagged emails, similar to how you can see one contains unread emails?

I was wondering if there was any way for a folder to have a flag next to it in the folder view, or maybe a red number to let you know the amount of flagged emails within that folder. I regularly forget to check my flagged emails by searching for them - I've set up a shortcut to find them easily enough, but would use the feature much more if it reminded me a little more intuitively (for me at least). I don't imagine this is possible but thought I'd check!

Thanks!

    Dear Carles Gilberto Silva,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

    Use Instant Search

Instant Search can be used to find flagged items within the selected folder or across all mail folders.

On the Home tab, in the Find group, click Filter Email, and then click Flagged.

There is no built-in way to show which folders contain flagged emails in Outlook. However, there are a few workarounds you can use:

    Use the search bar

You can use the search bar in Outlook to quickly find all flagged emails, regardless of which folder they are in. To do this, simply type is:flagged into the search bar and press Enter.

    Create a search folder

You can create a search folder that shows all flagged emails, regardless of which folder they are in. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click the File tab.
    2. Click New.
    3. Click Search Folder.
    4. In the Choose a search folder dialog box, select Mail Flagged for Follow Up.
    5. Click OK.

The new search folder will appear in the Navigation Pane. You can then click on the search folder to view all of your flagged emails.

    Use an add-in

There are a number of Outlook add-ins that can show you which folders contain flagged emails. One such add-in is called Flagged Mail.

To install the Flagged Mail add-in, follow these steps:

    1. Open Outlook.
    2. Click the File tab.
    3. Click Options.
    4. Click Add-Ins.
    5. Click the Go button next to Manage your add-ins.
    6. In the COM Add-Ins dialog box, click the Add button.
    7. Browse to the Flagged Mail add-in file and click Open.
    8. Click OK to close the COM Add-Ins dialog box.

Once the Flagged Mail add-in is installed, it will add a new column to the Navigation Pane called Flagged Mail. This column will show you the number of flagged emails in each folder.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Regards,

    Microsoft Community,

    Dear Carles Gilberto Silva,

    Good day!

While certain features are currently unavailable in the new Outlook,Your feedback can help us improve the product.

Go to to Help > Feedback, and then select from the options in the pane. Select Submit when you're ready to send.

Tip: Feedback won't be available if the Optional connected experience isn't turned on.

To turn this on, go to Settings >General>Privacy and data>Privacy settings and select the toggle for Turn on optional connected experience.

    Have a nice day.

No worries thanks for the reply! I've already got an Quick Access shortcut for this which works well, but was just wondering if there was any way of visualising it in a similar way to which I described. Thanks anyway!
