I'd be happy to help you set up your existing Outlook email on your new HP Envy laptop.
Before anything else, let me ask you the following questions below so that I fully understand the problem.
- What is the domain of your email that you are hvaing an issue with?
- Is there any error message when trying to set up?
Here are the steps you can follow:
- Open the Outlook application on your new HP Envy laptop.
- Click on the "File" tab in the top left corner of the screen.
- Click on "Add Account" in the Account Information section.
- Enter your email address and click on "Connect".
- Enter your password and click on "Connect".
- If prompted, enter your two-factor authentication code and click on "Connect".
- Outlook will now attempt to automatically configure your email account settings. If it is successful, you will see a message that says "Your email account is successfully configured".
- If Outlook is unable to automatically configure your email account settings, you will need to manually enter them. You can find the necessary settings by logging into your email account on the web and looking for the "POP and IMAP" or "Email Settings" section. Once you have the necessary settings, enter them into the appropriate fields in the "Add Account" window in Outlook.
- Once you have entered your email account settings, click on "Next" and then "Finish".
- Your existing Outlook email account should now be set up on your new HP Envy laptop.
