For ease of trying to trouble-shooting this issue, will only refer to the @hotmail account for the time being since that is the account that has the issues.

To that end, if you attempt to log into the @hotmail account via webmail using a private browser session, what exactly us the result when you use this link

    https://outlook.live.com/owa/

In the interests of time, when you say that you have a @gmail account, does that mean that you have an @utlook.com account where the @gmail address is set as the "Primary Alias: for the account? If yes, when you log into this @outlook,com account what are all the alias addresses attached to the account. These can be seen via this link

    Hi Karl

I guess I'm referring to the new outlook.

Yes I have a outlook, hotmail and gmail linked to one box.

But I can't get into my hotmail even when it is listed under my outlook.

I can't log in to the Hotmail.

It tells me to reload the hotmail.

    Thanks

    Rob

#1 - Does this mean that what you are referring to regarding the "the Outlook changeover" is actually about using the "new Outlook?

#2 - Do you actually have separate @hotmail and @outlook accounts?

#3 - Can you log into each of these accounts via webmail (using a browser) via this link?

    https://outlook.live.com/owa/

I look forward to your response so we can proceed further.

    HI Karl

What it shows me in the new outlook is my outlook account and below that is my hotmail account.

My hotmail account has a ! beside it telling me it will not load.

That means I'm not getting my hotmail i guess.

When I try to reload it will not.

    Thanks

    Rob

    Hello Robert C

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

Can you expand a little on what you mean by "In the Outlook changeover"?

There is no such thing as @hotmail "changing" to an @outlook email address.

Did you create a new @Outlook account expecting messages from the @hotmail account to be delivered to the @outlook account or did you add a new @Outlook alias email address to the @outlook account and then removed the @hotmail email address?

If you created a completely new account, then you will need to log into each account separately. Since only one Outlook.cm based account (@Outlook @Hotmail @Live @MSN) can be logged into one browser session at a time, you will need to log into the second account using a private browser session using the following link

    https://outlook.live.com/owa/

If on the other hand, you added an @outlook also address and removed the @hotmail address as an alias, that action is both immediate and permanent. Once removed, the email address can never be recovered by anyone under any circumstances. There are no exceptions to this Microsoft policy. Any messages sent to a removed email address will be bounced-back to the sender with the error that the email address does not exist.

This is described in the following article under the section

    <<Remove an email address>>
