How do I adjust the default delivery time when using "Delivery Options --> Do Not Delivery Before"?

It currently defaults to 5pm on the current date. Since I send emails in the evening for delivery at 7am the next day, I want to adjust the default so the default date/time for a delay message is 7am on the next day.

HOW DO I DO THIS? I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE.

Thank you,

Greg

Hi,

There is a simple fix. You'll need to download the "SetDeliveryTime" add-in and follow the instructions below. It's worked for me for over an year. Let me know if you have any questions.

I totally agree with everyone on this email string. It should be a simple feature that we select a default time when we want to delay messages to send. I find it odd that 5 pm is the default when it feels like it should be 8 am at the start of someone's day. Microsoft team - please get with your programmers to let a user select a delayed deliver default time so they don't have to scroll to the time they want on every e mail they send.

    Thanks you. Tauni Petershagen

Agreed. Very ridiculous. I'm constantly working late, sending many emails and frustrating to have to change the time on each one. And if I forget, recalling an email only allows for those "in my organization". Well great. Most of the people I'm sending emails to are not in my organization. Then I get an angry call why I'm emailing them at 3am.

Very very absurd this can't be a simple code. It's basically 2024 for gds sake! Come on!

THAT DID NOTHING TO CHANGE THE DEFAULT.

THE NEXT TIME I SENT ANOTHER EMAIL THE DEFAULT WAS 5:00 ON TODAYS DATE.

IT DID NOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT.
