From your post, I understand you need assistance with changing the default font and format type settings in Outlook. When you set a default font, new messages you create uses that font setting as default.
If you are using the classic Outlook application, follow the steps below to change the font;
- Go to File > Options > Mail > Under Compose messages, choose Stationery and Fonts.
- On the Personal Stationery tab, under New mail messages or Replying or forwarding messages, choose Font.
- In the Font box, choose the font, style, size, and color that you want to use. You can see a preview of your changes as you make them.
- Choose OK three times to return to Outlook. The new settings takes effect immediately.
If you are using the new Outlook application, follow the steps below to change the font;
- Launch the Outlook application >> click on View tab >> Select the View settings.
- Select Mail section >> Under the Compose and Reply section, navigate to Message format and select your preferred font and size.
- Click on OK and the new settings takes effect immediately.
