Earlier on last month, I reported that I received an email from a scammer, claiming to be Outlook, telling me my account was going to expire. I filled out their form, then received emails from Microsoft, saying there's new sign in activity, followed by 145 messages in my sent folder, in July and three months later, after I was told everything was okay, and after I changed my password. I signed out on all devices, but unfortunately, the hackers were still able to access my important emails, but only required a password if they wanted to send something.
The hackers able to still see emails in my inbox without being prompted for the password when launching Super Mailer has cost me hundreds of dollars. They were able to read my eBay order confirmation emails. They were able to read my Australia Post delivery confirmation emails. These emails convinced them they could do some more damage. They've gone and made me a victim of a change of address scam, and now, my postal mail is being redirected to the hackers. Everything I send or receive, as long as its from or to me ends up with hackers in NSW instead of at their delivery addresses, and the hackers rang Australia Post, pretending to be my NDIS support worker. The stupid lady at Australia Post granted them the right to redirect my mail without my consent. Costs incurred so far are as followed.
New World- the Albums 3 CD box set $55.00 from Rarewaves, ordered on eBay, with delivery to Byford, Western Australia. This purchase has made its way into the hands of the scammers who sent out the Microsoft Account expiration message. This order has now been lost, and Microsoft should be held responsible as the hackers were able to scroll through my messages even though my password was changed, and only required the new password if they wanted to send some more emails to random people.
Sandy Posey- Born A Woman: The Complete MGM Recordings 1966- 1968
eBay Rarewaves Purchase to the value of $36.00. Shipped to 195 Larsen Rd Byford WA 6122. Again, this order has not been delivered to the correct address. Instead, it is at the hands of the scammers who hacked my email address last month.
For Christmas, my sister ordered me a Suzanne Prentice CD to the value of $40.00 on Discogs. This mail redirection problem does not only apply to me, it applies to all us Burrows's receiving mail. Microsoft should be held responsible, and pay me for these lost orders.
Engelbert Humperdinck- the Complete Decca Albums Collection
eBay sale to the value of $65.00. Sent to customer in QLD, and the redirection problem has caused it to land in the hands of the hackers and not the customer who bought it from me. I have now refunded my buyer and explained to him why he hasn't received his package.
Bill Anderson- The First Ten Years 1956- 1966 (4 CD Box Set)
eBay sale to the value of $165.00. I sent this package to someone in NSW, and like the Engelbert Humperdinck I sent, this box set will also make it into the hands of the hackers.
Brenton Wood- Baby You Got It: the 1960s Anthology + Percy Sledge- The Atlantic Recordings
eBay sale of 2 items, to the sale of $215.00. Package is on the way to the hackers, and not the buyer who bought it from me. Microsoft should please reimberce for these costs incurred due to the lack of security of my Outlook accounts.
Australia Post will not do anything about this as the redirection occurs as a specific rule. It is all done behind my backs and the redirection of my mail is permanent. My new credit card arrives in March. This is going to make it to the hackers, who will do some more damage with the likes of taking out lones in my name, spending my money on stuff, and I'll never have access to my money ever again, and will never be able to pay my bills.
Every 2 years, my pension card from Centrelink is renewed and sent out. My new pension card, expected some time in 2025 will make it in the wrong hands. I will be losing thousands of dollars due to the inability for me to deliver a CD to my customers on eBay.
My passport expires in 5 more years. This will also make it into the hands of friends of the hackers. I can't get a new passport because Australia Post has failed to recognise that the redirection of mail in my name is fraud. So Microsoft, please contact Australia Post for me, and let them know what's been going on, and to discontinue redirection of all my mail to the hackers in the eastern states, who forward it onto the actual international address of the scammers. The reason the hackers have put a redirect on my postal mail is because they're hoping its drugs or documents containing personal information.
