    Hi Mike, This is Bryll

Thank you for writing us here in Microsoft Community.

To change the email address security information for your Microsoft account, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account security page Microsoft account | Security
    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials.
    3. Click Advanced security options then sign in again if asked
    4. Click the existing email address under Email a code option to remove
    5. Next, click Add a new way to sign in or verify then choose Email a code
    6. Enter the name of your active email address and click Next

Once the new email address is verified, you can remove the old email address if you no longer want it to be associated with your account.

For your reference, please take a look here: Microsoft account security info & verification codes - Microsoft Support

It is a true honor to contribute on your concern.

    Yours truly,

    Bryll

Sorry. I did try to reply but it came back to me. Yes, this did work for me and I really appreciate your response to my question. Again, sorry for not getting back to you as the first time I tried, it came back to me.
