This added outlook to my phone and showed only 40 emails in my inbox when I went to the mail icon at the bottom of my phone. . My hotmail had 566 and 4 emails stuck in the outbox (why I am trying to fix this. no emails will send and it says i have the wrong password which i do not).

1)Why do I have a different account when i put in outlook as opposed to hotmail?

2. how to I gain full access to my hotmail account? i have changed password multiple times, have deleted the account and tried to reset up (it will not), have used POP3 and iMap, have turned off the phone and back on to set up again.

My outlook seems to be different than my hotmail. why is that?!
