I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble accessing your emails. if you are using an Android, the way to rectify it is to try the following steps to fix the issue : Check for system updates for your phone and install them if available.
Remove the Hotmail account from the Outlook app and delete the app from your phone.
Go to the Google Play Store and check for updates for the Outlook app and install it again.
Set up your Hotmail account using the Outlook app and follow the instructions on Set up email in the Outlook for Android app.

If you are on your PC,
Go to; Choose Account Settings > Account Settings in Outlook.
On the Email tab, choose your account (profile), and then choose Repair.
Follow the prompts in the wizard, and when you’re done, restart Outlook.
