Dear Fatima Al-Foqaha,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. It will be a pleasure working with you,
In Microsoft Outlook, it's not possible to set a password on a Contact, you can suggest this Option, Please leave your Feedback in theOutlook Community Feedback. however, you can set a password to protect individual email messages rather than the entire contact. Outlook provides afeature called "Encrypt" which allows you to add a password to an individual email message to ensure that only the intended recipient can read it. Here's how you can do it:
- Compose a New Email:
Start by composing a new email in Outlook.
- Enable Encryption:
In the new email message, go to the "Options" tab on the Ribbon. Depending on your Outlook version, you might find it directly as "Options" or under "More Options."
- Encrypt Message Contents:
Look for an option related to encryption. In some versions, you may see an "Encrypt" or "Permissions" button. Click on it.
- Set a Password:
Choose the option to encrypt the message and set a password. You'll need to provide a password that the recipient will use to open the email.
Send the Email:
Finish composing your email and send it. The recipient will receive the encrypted message and will be prompted to enter the password to view its contents.
