How do I set up icloud email in Outlook?

How do I set up iCloud email in Outlook? I have followed all the steps on multiple tutorials for setting up my iCloud email account in Outlook with no success. It always comes back account not found. Any suggestions as to what I could do to get this set up?

    thanks for putting these detailed steps online. Unfortunately I still can't even login. I had to create an App Specific password, which I successfully did. And it won't even let me log into my iCloud account when I try and add it to my Outlook account.

    I finally got this to work by manually using the server settings here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102525. One key note is the fact the original App Specific password did not work; therefore, I created a new one (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102654) and it finally worked. Note (in Outlook) that "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" had to be check in the More Settings -> Outgoing Server tab

    Based on your description, I understand you need assistance with adding iCloud account to Outlook application on MAC. I understand that you have created the App password from iCloud, however you still unable to sign in. Apologies for the inconveniences experienced.

    To better assist you with this issue, kindly provide answers to the questions below:

    1. Did you by chance change your AppleID recently?
    2. What version of Outlook do you have installed?

    To configure your Apple iCloud email account in Microsoft Outlook for Mac, kindly follow these steps:

    Step 1: Start Outlook for Mac. On the Tools menu, select Accounts >> Select the plus (+) sign in the lower-left corner, and then select Other E-mail.

    Step 2: Enter your E-mail Address and Password, and then select Add Account.

    Step 3: Enter the incoming and outgoing server information manually.

    For the Incoming server box:

    a. imap.mail.me.com (for me.com email addresses)

    b. mail.mac.com (for mac.com email addresses)

    c. imap.mail.me.com (for icloud.com email addresses)

    d. Select Use SSL to connect (recommended) under the Incoming server box.

    Enter one of the following in the Outgoing server box:

    a. smtp.mail.me.com (for me.com email addresses)

    b. smtp.mac.com (for mac.com email addresses)

    c. smtp.mail.me.com (for icloud.com email addresses)

    d. Select Use SSL to connect (recommended) under the Outgoing server box.

    Step 4: Select Override default port under the Outgoing server box, and then enter 587 in the Outgoing server port text box.

    After you have entered the incoming and outgoing server information, Outlook for Mac will start to receive your email messages.

    I have the same issue.
    Upon creating an App Password from iCloud, and adding in the iCloud email account to Outlook, it is immediately logged out again and keeps asking for the app password over and over.
