How to get outlook to show my replies in an email conversation.

In the web version of outlook, if I open an email in my inbox that was sent to me it shows my replies to it in the reading pane right above where the email I opened is.

When I use the Windows version of outlook this is not the case, I get a message saying "You replied to this message on x". I'd like the Windows version to show me what my reply was, otherwise I have to search through my sent email which is time consuming.

I have Office 365 Outlook,

I have attempted to switch to new outlook and have interacted with the "messages" tab in the view settings. I've also looked at General and mail in the options but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Actually, I don't. I have the "View as Conversation" checked, and no, I cannot easily accesss the responses in a, um, "conversation."

You appear to be replying to the wrong message. I am not asking a question.

Of course, Microsoft's 'advisors' ask you a bunch of questions like they've never heard of this before. So annoying! Thinking of moving to Gmail.
