Reply with attachment included

How is it feasible to forward with attachment and not feasible to reply with attachment? From the user point of view all forwarding does is open a new email with the attachment already attached. From my ignorant perspective it seems pretty straight forward to use the same process as forwarding except add the emails from the original message.

My organization (100+ employees) would also love this option. I can't tell you the HOURS I waste on a monthly basis tracking down attachments that were not included in a reply and then later that reply is forwarded to me. Obviously because I'm farther down the chain the attachment is gone, and I have to email the originator to send the attachment so I can address the issue in the email.

This request is decades old. With all the changes to Outlook over those decades and all the inefficiencies added to MS Office/Windows one would think that the programmers would jump on this issue as it gives them a huge feather in their cap to finally give the masses what they want. FYI by inefficiencies I mean what used to take one click now takes 2, what took 2 now takes 3-4 and so on.

This is ridiculous and should be a very simple software feature to implement.

thank you for the response and yes, i am aware about possibilities you described and I was searching for that particular feature to reply with att.

Anyway, thank you again and i am sure (since i was browsing other chats then this one) than more people will benefit from that feature; it would be great if you can raise the topic to Product Team.

Many people have this pain point in my organisation as well. Would be great to find a solution as a quick google search shows that this question / request has been raised over a number of years.
