I'm using New Outlook for Windows, but can't find a way to save the .ics file from my meeting (event).

How can I do that? or it's not support to do so. Kindly advise.

Same here. my team uses the .ics file to post for download at will by attendees. While none of the previously explained option work for me, it seems beyond counterproductive to have to do reply/forward to an event do download an .ics file. Thank you

    Hi Eleni,

Thank you for your answer, but it doesn't work out for me.

when I forwarded the event to my colleague, it automatically applied the event for them.

I have to forward it to a third-party email app such as Gmail to get .ics file, but I still can't import that file back to my New Outlook for Windows.

Can you provide more advice on this?

    Thanks
    Poom

I dont have the option to reply, reply all, or forward in the new outlook.

You only find the option to Foreward in meetings not arranged by you. And therefore this is close to useless.

I need to be able to generate ICS-link som i can let coworkers see my event, and if interessted: clik the ics-file, and get it in their own calendar.

Stange that this is not an option.

I have had the same experience as Poom Ritthirungrat.

I tried forwarding the invitation to myself but it did not produce an ICS file. The people I invite who are external to my organization receive an ICS file, but there is a whole group of people who may want to attend, but who will not be individually invited. I just want to attach an ICS item to the meeting information so they can download it if they want to. But I can't see any way to do this in New Outlook.

My workaround is to open "OLD" Outlook after the calendar items are created, then download an ICS from there.

This has become a major impediment in using Outlook. When will Microsoft allow the saving of a single calendar event as an .ics. file, please? Thank you.
