Hi Natjira ,
Good day.
Hope you are doing well you for posting in Microsoft Community.
Are you able to successfully log into Outlook on the web? https://outlook.office.com/?
If there are no issues in the web, please try the following:
Turn of metered connection and turn on again .
If you are using a M365 exchange account, can your Outlook by following these guidelines provided in Fix Outlook connection problems in Microsoft 365 - Exchange | Microsoft Learn This will report any known problems and details about your Microsoft Outlook configuration
Try creating a new profile in Outlook for the Exchange account. Go to File > Account Settings > Change profile and restart Outlook. Click Options then New and create a new profile. Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support.
To rule out any corruption for the .PST file, please run the SCANPST.EXE tool to repair the data file. Please follow steps in Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost). Alternatively, you can rebuild the OST File (rename the .OST file while Outlook is closed, and Outlook will regenerate a new .OST file when launched).
- Close Outlook.
- Type into Windows Search “%appdata%” to bring up the App Data Folder
- Next Click “AppData” in the address bar of file explorer.
- App Data > Local > Microsoft > Outlook
- Make Sure File Extensions are enabled so that the .ost is shown.
- Look for the ******@mydomain.com.ost file.
- Right-Click the .ost File and Click re-name.
- Rename .ost to .old (This is to preserve any data)
- Re-Open Outlook. You may have to Sign-in again and Reauthenticate.
I hope this helps let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions .
