This is what I did. BUT, when the search is complete, there is no figure anywhere showing the number of emails. Nobody has time to manually count them especially if there are hundreds of emails. In the desktop version of Outlook, once the search was complete, it provided a figure showing how many emails there were between the two dates.
Counting emails received between 2 dates
In the new Outlook, is it possible to count the emails received between 2 dates? This used to be possible in the desktop version of Outlook. You entered your dates and a number showed at the bottom of the screen showing the number of emails. Now no number seems to show. As far as I am aware you would have to count the emails manually. Surely this cannot be correct?

2024-04-10T09:36:09+00:00 A slightly convoluted way to to do this is to perform your search for the requested date range and selected mailbox. Once your search results have been generated, select all E-mails and copy.
Open a blank Excel document and paste the results into your blank document. Select the received column and check the count in bottom right corner.

2024-03-20T14:06:33+00:00 I agree; I am also looking for these counts. Knowing how to search by time period is useful, but I need to know how many emails are in each time frame. I have had to revert to the prior version to do this, which is silly.
