Being able to convert and email to PDF and to add emails to existing PDF's was a feature in Outlook.

The feature went away with the New Outlook.

Why not just admit that Microsoft has made a mess of Outlook with its latest revision.

There are many other problems with Outlook that are too numerous to mention.

But every time I check on line I read a "solution" that solves nothing and never lays responsibility on Microsoft for a bug, which is always euphemistically referred to as an "issue".

I would also like to see if there is a way to convert emails to PDF and also to append emails to already saved PDF documents. This is a tool I use a lot for tracking conversations about billing and agreements to pay from 3rd party sponsors. To have this "go away" when moving from the Outlook 2019 desktop application to a cloud-based app, is a great loss to ease of tracking info.

    Hello LGarrett and Joseph,

If it helps, I use Adobe Acrobat Professional along with Outlook. The "Convert to PDF" function is one of the ways I use it. It enables me to gather all the emails and Outlook items of a case or project so I can bundle them together with links and attachments and an index for archive (after reviewing billing of course).

You can see in my related post tonight that it stopped working at least 6 weeks ago. Adobe blames Microsoft, and Microsoft blames Adobe. I've considered dumping them both.

Today I realized a workaround might be for me to downgrade (or revert to) Outlook standalone 2021. I hope to learn more soon.

Perhaps that discussion will be helpful for you.

All those steps to do what was a one-button option? You guys are really reaching. Plus, it doesn't save the same way as before when you do it like this. The old way, the links to documents stayed live.

    Joseph -

Thanks so much for your input -- I thought maybe I was just dumb and couldn't see what was right in front of me. I will continue to use my old Outlook for as long as I can and then maybe by the time I cannot, Microsoft will have released a new, New Outlook that is worth a flip. I mean, why would anyone want to convert an email to pdf for documentation purposes?
