    Hello Muideen,

I'm Shalom and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Receiving a Microsoft verification code when you haven’t requested one could be a sign that someone is trying to access your account. However, it could also be due to a sync issue. Here are some steps you can take:

Do not use the code: If you did not request the code, do not use it. Check your account activity: Sign in to your Microsoft account and check for any suspicious activity.

Change your password: If you suspect someone is trying to access your account, change your password immediately.

Enable two-factor authentication: This adds an extra layer of security to your account.

Remember, Microsoft will never ask for your password or send unsolicited verification codes.

    Best Regards, Shalom
