I can't log in to my University Microsoft account on my laptop. I can't add it as an account. Every time I try I get a Something went wrong message. I am currently logged on with my personal gmail account like I was on my last laptop (there was no issue then). Full error message:

Error code: 80192EE7

Correlation ID: e5372238-5803-4976-ab55-4ae66360c38e

Timestamp: 2024-04-08T14:23:02Z

More Information: https://www.microsoft.com/wamerrors

Server Message: Unknown error code: 0x80192ee7

I've tried logging into different devices (it works fine) and changing wifi (it still doesn't work.) I do not use a VPN.

    Dear Charles_42,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble logging in to your University Microsoft account on your laptop. The error code 80192EE7 indicated that your device has been enrolled and managed by Intune policy in your organization/school, Also WIP scope is tuned on and the device set in the scope. Therefore, if you have access for the Microsoft Entra ID in the Microsoft admin center, you may try to turn off this option off or exclude your device from the scope and try to log in with your account.

    • Go to portal.azure.com > Microsoft Entra ID > Mobility (MDM and WIP) > Microsoft Intune
    • Set "Windows Information Protection (WIP) user scope" to "None"/ exclude the user device.

However, if you are an end user, I sincerely recommend you contact your organization/school IT admin to perform the above steps on their end in the Microsoft Entra ID.

If you have any other question or I have got you wrong please feel free to let me know.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Libeamlak | Microsoft Community Moderator
