Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Dear Jay Sully,
Good day! Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you.
I do understand your query here and I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Currently, accounts associated with SKUs that don't carry licenses for Outlook client apps (Microsoft 365 client apps license) are also not supported. If users attempt to add those accounts, they see an error: This account is not supported in Outlook for Windows due to the license provided by your work or schoolrefer to Accounts in the new Outlook for Windows - Deploy Office | Microsoft Learn. However, Please note that, this is a known issue and Microsoft Product development teams is working on a fix. Therefore, I will update this thread as soon as I get any additional information about the query and the specific timeline for the fix.
In the meantime, you can install Outlook PWA(Progressive Web App) as a workaround after you install the web version of Outlook as a progressive web app, you can do things like pin and launch the web version of Outlook from your computer's home screen or taskbar, and access your account while you're offline. This way, you can access your accounts at the same time without having to log in and out. You can refer to Use the web version of Outlook like a desktop app - Microsoft Support
If you have any other question or I have got you wrong, please feel free to let me know.
Thank you for your precious time and kind understanding. Have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Community Moderator
