I am in the same situation. I need vs2015 to run some code from my company. However when I go to the webpage mentioned above and try to download vs2015, the only option available is "with update 3", and when I try to install it, it says "update 3 requires a member of the visual studio 2015 family to be present". So I can't start. I am trying to find the original vs2015, but it's nowhere to be found. Could you help?

Should I download the Visual Studio Community 2015 with Update 3 as I saw on the site? Is it the correect choice?
Since I only need the Visual Studio Community 2015 and I have not had any visual studio installation in my computer then should I download Visual Studio Community 2015 with Update 3 ? What is the Update 3 means ? Does it mean that I need to have the previous version of Visual Studio installed ? I did not have any Visual Studio installed in my computer.

Update 3 is the latest in a cumulative series of feature additions and bug fixes for Visual Studio 2015. Update 3 is intended to be installed on a computer that has a prior version of Visual Studio 2015 on it.
So install it on top of VS 2015 download

Visual Studio Community 2015 with Update 3 already includes the most recent update for VS2015. After this is installed there is no need to separately download and install update 3.
