Propose New Time option missing from Ribbon

hi, i'm trying to send meetings using the latest Outlook (may be 2023 or 2024) and have been told that my invites don't allow attendees to propose different time slots. it seems like i don't have the option to allow that in the new version whereas i see it available in the old one; is this a bug i need to submit a ticket for or how else do i enable this in the new version?

this is the path i'm following: event ribbon >> response options >> supposed to be Allow new time proposals option but there's nothing like that, only "allow forwarding," "request response," and "hide attendee list." i will have to use the classic outlook version in the meantime.

    Hi!

I had the same issue. I figured out that if you click on the arrow at the far right end of the ribbon and select "Classic Ribbon" instead of the default of "Simplified ribbon", it will allow you to propose a new time.

Today I have this problem as well. Received a meeting invitation from someone else and there is no option to Propose New Time. In fact - I saw the button appear on the ribbon once and then dissappear.

I then tried to create a new meeting event and find the option where this feature can be disabled/enabled for an individual meeting. I can't find it anywhere.

    Seems like something is wrong.

thanks for responding! unfortunately i do not see any "More Options" buttons or ellipses next to the send:

i tried clicking through preferences but it only gives me meeting timing options. do you think this is a bug issue or is there somewhere else i'm not looking? thanks again!
