This is an issue for 2 or 3 users now in our organization.
Tried everything - reinstall, clicking on purchase Office 365, delete profile, added new profile but to no resolve.
Contacted MS Support but they couldn't figure out as well.

Hello,
I have a Microsoft Outlook on my desktop that is connected to my personal and work account.
I have this icon that pops up next to my work account which says "Remote server is not reachable".
Is there a way to fix this? I can't send any email for my work..!

Outlook app - "Remote server is not reachable"?
Outlook Version 18.82.1
Hello - the same issue has affected me since last night:
No email is downloading or sending.
In the outlook app in both my mac devices i see a crossed out cloud next to the outlook account which reads "remote server is not reachable". On the iPhone app, I see a permanent message "updating". Other email accounts are working fine.
I log into my MS Office personal account without problems and can see all outlook emails in the web application.
i have restarted the machines, and tried an alternative profile as suggested in the earlier exchange. In the phone app i reinstalled the app.
i have just switched to the 'Legacy version' and can now see the email - so i guess i better stick to that?
Many thanks for your advice.
I experience the same issue. It started yesterday around 5 pm CET. Also, it seems it is connected to these accounts running through the Microsoft Cloud. Can someone confirm that they might have had a problem with their synchronisation since yesterday?
Same issue. Friday morning - everything working perfectly yesterday. Running Outlook on Mac Studio and MacBook Air, both coming up with same error message, tried restart etc. (Mac Mail and direct log in to emails working properly).
I had the same issue. But i noticed, i was signed out of my MS365 account in outlook. I signed back in again, and it removed the icon and all is working fine. trying signing in on Outlook. Go to Outlook on top, and you should see sign in or purchase MS365 or something like that. if it shows, just sign in with your account and it should resolve.
