How do I create an email message template in New Outlook?

It was very easy in the old outlook, but there appears to be no option to create or use email templates in the New Outlook?

Thank you!

Hello, I was having the same issue. Here is what I did.

You first need to add the My Templates app to your Outlook. In a new message, Insert>Apps>Add Apps> search for My Template

The following is from the Help tab in Outlook, I searched "Template":

     Create or edit email templates

In the new Outlook for Windows, templates are similar to quick parts in classic Outlook. They are text-only; no graphics or formatting included. But they can contain multiple paragraphs.

    1. In a message you're composing, on the Insert tab, select  Outlook all apps button  Apps > My Templates. (The first time you use My Templates, click through a description of the feature to get to step 2.)
    2. To create a new template, click  The Add icon is a plus symbol inside a circle.  Template, then give the template a name and enter the text you want to include.
    3. To edit an existing template, point at the template name, then select  Edit button  Edit template.

Tip: For info on how to use the new template, see Open or use an email template.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi there!

There are no 3 dots in the bottom right hand corner of my new email message window. All I have is the icon for the Editor.

At the end of your ribbon there is a ellipsis (...)

But I too use email templates extensively (most communication business users do) and as far as I can tell there is no way to save off an email you create to a file to be used as a template by multiple users, in sharepoint, or in a common location. This is a massive issue as we at this point need to create templates in old outlook and save them off and then need to double check the formatting (as when the template opens Outlook changes the formatting often), the placement / layout of the images, and the preloaded recipient list.

    Please fix this.

I am having the same issue. There is no option in the drop down menu to save as template.

Please assist or fix this issue.

    Thanks
