Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2403 Build 16.0.17425.20124) 32-bit

I am using a third-party add-in called "Tools4Contacts." It is apparently slowing down Outlook slightly, and so it gets disabled. How do I re-enable it? The help file is not helping.

    Hello Jimspy,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

To re-enable the "Tools4Contacts" add-in in Microsoft Outlook, please follow these steps:

    1. Open Outlook.
    2. Click on the "File" menu.
    3. Choose "Options" to open the Outlook Options window.
    4. In the Options window, click on "Add-ins" in the left-hand menu.
    5. At the bottom of the window, next to "Manage:", make sure "COM Add-ins" is displayed in the dropdown menu and click "Go...".
    6. In the COM Add-Ins dialog, look for "Tools4Contacts" in the list.
    7. Check the checkbox next to "Tools4Contacts" to enable it.
    8. Click "OK" to apply the changes.

If the add-in keeps getting disabled, it might be due to performance issues that Outlook detects. If re-enabling the add-in doesn’t work or it gets disabled again, you may need to contact the add-in’s support team for a more permanent solution or update the add-in to the latest version, which may have performance improvements.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Ibhadighi
