    Hello! Joel Matinhure

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

It seems to me that you are trying to automatically download email attachments.

    Allow me to ask:

    1. Was this working before?
    2. May I know how do you access your emails? is it through Outlook.com (web)? Outlook application (included in Microsoft 365 subscription)? New Outlook for Windows? Classic Outlook for Windows (Windows Mail app)? Outlook application for mobiles?
      • What version and edition of Office do you have installed in your device? Example: Personal/Family/Enterprise?
        • You can open any Office apps
        • Go to File > Accounts - on the right side you can see Product Information
    3. I would like to verify what @domain and who is hosting your email account? example for @domains: Gmail.com, Yahoo.com, Outlook.com/Hotmail.com
      • May I know if the account is for Work/School use? or Personal (Hotmail/Outlook.com) use?
      • May I know what email configuration is your email account in Outlook? is it POP/IMAP? Or Microsoft Exchange?

To automatically download email attachments in Outlook for Windows, you can follow these steps: Classic Outlook UI.

    1. Open Outlook and go to the File tab.
    2. Click on Options and then select Trust Center.
    3. Click on Trust Center Settings and then select Automatic Download.
    4. Check the box next to "Don't download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items" if you want to download only attachments and not pictures.
    5. Check the box next to "Permit downloads in e-mail messages from senders and to recipients defined in the Safe Senders and Safe Recipients Lists used by the Junk E-mail filter" if you want to download attachments only from trusted senders.
    6. Click OK to save the changes.

Once you have made these changes, Outlook will automatically download attachments from trusted senders.

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you,

    Vince
