I can’t create a new one because you ask me to enter a code received to this new email address that I just created, but there is no way I can access the mails received from this address because it never existed…

    Dear Anonymous_342

    Thank you for your reply.

I am very sorry that I may have misunderstood your question before.

May I ask if you are customizing a non-existent email address to create a Microsoft account for use?

I would like to clarify with you that if you are using a customized email address, when you create a Microsoft account, you will need to verify your identity to collect the code, so your email address (not a Microsoft domain name) must be real and able to receive emails normally.

If you don't want to collect the code, then you may need to create a Microsoft domain mailbox, such as Hotmail/Outlook.

Please correct me if I have misunderstood.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Most Sincerely

I am not sure that I understand what you mean by "the wrong alphanumeric characters or multiple alphanumeric characters"?

Do you mean that if after the @ it is not written outlook or hotmail it won't work?

Of course if it is new I won't be able to access the spam folder considering that it never existed!!

    Dear Anonymous_342

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are experiencing a problem with not being able to create a Microsoft email address, I know this is troubling for you and I really apologize for the inconvenience.

For this type of problem: it cannot be ruled out that the account may have been created with the wrong alphanumeric characters or multiple alphanumeric characters that prevented you from receiving the verification code.

Or you can check your spam folder: sometimes verification emails are mistakenly recognized as spam, you can check your spam folder to see if there are any relevant emails. If the verification code is not received, the account cannot be created. This is also to protect your account privacy and security.

So, we suggest you can try to create a new email account with a Hotmail/Outlook domain name or use another stable account that can receive the verification code normally.

Also, before doing the above steps, you can use the privacy mode or change to another device and network: sometimes the problem may be related to the device or network you are currently using, you can try to do the verification steps on another device or network.

If, as I understand it, this is not the case, please provide detailed specific information, preferably with screenshots of course. (To protect your privacy, please cover your account information)

I hope the above information is helpful to you. Looking forward to your reply.

    May you be well.
