I start my day and Outlook is fine, throughout the day Outlook comes to a crawl where it becomes unusable, latency is extreme. If I restart things are better for a period of time. I have reinstalled, uninstalled and reinstalled, and the problem persists.
I keep my apps updated to the most current version, which has never backfired on me until this issue surfaced.
Is there a way to rollback to an older version?
For now, I am giving up on the desktop version of Outlook, and using the web version which is working for me so far.

I'm having the exact same issue. I have a newish (February) 2024 MacBook Pro and my Outlook version is Version 16.85.1. Outlook works fine for several hours and then bogs down to a unresponsive stop. I have to Force Quit Outlook, and restart. That will fix it temporarily for a number of hours until it happens again. This has been the pattern for the last week or so. Everything worked fine up until just days ago.
I have exactly the same issue. It's incredibly laggy after a couple of hours being open. It's OK for a while after start up. Exactly the same as Scot's complaint. It was fine before the update.
I saw the same behaviour on my MAcBook Air as well. It seems a memory problem from what I interpreted from reading %top results. I could not even close outlook with normal command over outlook menu. I have to close it via %sudo kill -9 PID !!!

My problems with Outlook latency, that OS Activity Monitor indicated that Outlook consumed 100% of my processor availability, after being open for a few hours, seems to be resolved, without taking any direct action. I kept applying updates as they came out, now Outlook performance is as expected!
