I am using the Windows Desktop version of Outlook (Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2404 Build 16.0.17531.20120) 64-bit). However, it does not show any "ADD" item under the "All Apps":

In Outlook for Windows, click the All Apps button on the ribbon and then use the Add Apps link at the bottom.

If you are in an organization, maybe you don't have access to that option. It may be restricted by the local Office admin.

    Dear Cheryl McMurray,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, Outlook addins not showing add by url option.

For this issue, I was wondering whether you could not see the get add in option or could not using only URL way to add an add-in?

If you could not see the get add-in option, would you please try following:

    1. In Outlook on the web, select Settings.
    2. At the bottom of the Settings list, select View all Outlook settings.
    3. Select Mail > Customize actions.
      • To add  Get Add-ins to the reading pane, go to Message Surface, then select Get Add-ins.
      • To add  Get Add-ins to new messages, go to Toolbar, then select Get Add-ins.
    4. Select Save, then close Settings.

Then, you will see this option in the emails. To add add-in using URL, please see information below:

    1. Select Get Add-ins iconGet Add-ins.
    2. Select My add-ins.
    3. Go to the bottom of the page to Custom add-ins.
    4. Select Add a custom add-in, then either Add from URL or Add from file. Custom add-ins
    5. Enter the URL or select the file for the add in.

If you are using classic version of OWA, please refer to the method below:

    1. Select Settings iconSettings > Manage add-ins.

A screenshot of the Settings button.

    1. For free add-ins, use the toggle controls to turn them on or off. For paid add-ins and free trials, select Get it to finish your purchase.

For more information about getting add-in in OWA, please refer to: Using add-ins in Outlook on the web - Microsoft Support.

If the information above could not be useful for your issue, would you please share me some screenshots of your Outlook settings page and add in options and I will do some test accordingly and assist you further.

I look forward to your next update for further analysis. If there is any update or I misunderstand you, please feel free to let me know. I will continue to assist you. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator
