Thanks Bill, indeed I experienced the "double entry" problem on some of the contacts as well.

I also noticed, that on my actual iCloud contacts, many of the "notes" information is messed up, with certificate-like strings appended to the bottom of several. I don't know what triggered that, but I'm pretty sure it's more likely to be MS vs. Apple :D

When you right click on the iCloud Contacts folder in outlook, what exactly happens? Is the box to show it as a contacts folder gray and unclickable? If yes, your profile is corrupt, and you need to make a new profile.

If it is checked, you need to make it the default in Outlook address book tools > options https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/4bd854cc-bb0a-40ce-8610-5b42ccf8f7eb?platform=QnA

Diane, thank you for getting back to me. I do have my contacts on outlook, but I can’t get them to be the contact list to use. I followed what you said, going to properties, outlook address book and my iCloud contacts is there, it just won’t do anything when I tap show the folder as an email address book.

What could I be doing wrong. WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT! I have a very detailed address book and I do not want to enter it all again. What am I missing????
