I can't believe how lacking the "new" Outlook is. There are so many features missing - this totally feels like a beta. I'm disappointed that Microsoft is no longer concerned with putting out a quality product. What they are putting out is fine for non-business use, but nowhere near where it needs to be as a viable corporate product.
hate the new outlook that is replacing win mail. any alternative that is similar to win mail that is simple and fast to load?

this is probably worse than the decision to remove group all at task bar and so many people refused to upgrade to win 11 because of that. what is Ms thinking?

2024-11-05T21:22:55+00:00 Agree with you. Almost every day I am forced to spend more time resolving issues with Outlook. Unfortunately, as long as I use Windows I am locked into Outlook. What is appalling is based upon the number of issues raised with Outlook, one would have thought Microsoft would have been more responsive to the user community. Sadly, that is not the case. What a pity!

2024-10-15T18:47:45+00:00 i usually dont make a comment regarding such things as i don't really care much, but oh my god this new outlook is just completely unreliable and the fact its even forced on us makes things even worse, its not about speed the interface in itself is not user-friendly , on top its having a lot of Graphical issues due to its nature this wont be fixed anytime soon as its the same with whatsapp which was already on same web API, while its a good thing to always innovate and improve we must also remember that improvement isn't something about constantly changing, but its about the aim to achieve perfection, the previous outlook was indeed reliable user friendly and simply looks clean and it has some nice customization and its overall easy to use, its also fast, most of its bugs were already patched and fixed with time making it a real good and reliable application on an industrial level even as you can work and get things done efficiently... the newer one is the complete opposite while some people might think it looks nicer got more feature but just because it has more features is not necessarily a good thing, i would have preferred to separate the new one from the older one as they both work on a completely different method one is a web browsing API while the other one works on a client level, having the older one still available but with no more support except the security patches to ensure that its still safe to use, i would have been more happy this way i can reliably use the previous version until the newer one becomes more appealing while it gets improvement and becomes either just as good if not better or overall something i would switch for when I'm willing to move on and try the new thing.
i have never in my life considered using an alternative app than the outlook but MS just amazed me with this decision of making the new outlook forced on us despite all the negative feedbacks, that I'm sadly left with no other option because as of now I'm more than willing to switch to another application for my mails, MS can still make it right but i think there is just no going back to it anymore, and as mentioned by one of the MS support team, it will be updated and stuff in the next few "Months" now that mean for "Months" ill have to put up with it until its optimized... and i just wanna make it clear not everyone got Months to spare waiting...

2024-08-23T14:33:58+00:00 Who DOESN'T have a large mailbox? The fact that the software is not designed to handle the massive amount of information of emails typical of any working professional, with attachments, images, etc, is subpar. The Outlook desktop app is poorly designed if this can be an issue. Meanwhile Outlook Webmail can handle the large inbox without a glitch. Why is this?

2024-04-09T04:05:27+00:00 Hello Daniel_tan,
I am sorry for the challenges you have with the new Outlook.
Please note that the new Outlook is still under development and improving in many features.
Please try the following options and see if the issue gets resolved:
- Reduce the Size of Your Mailbox. Large mailboxes can slow down Outlook. Try archiving old emails.
- Ensure that you have a strong and stable network connection.
- You might have to disable some add-ins that you don't use regularly as some can slow down Outlook.
- Repair Outlook Profile. A corrupted profile can cause slow loading, so consider repairing and the Outlook app on your desktop.
If the issue persists, please submit feedback to the Outlook development team on the issue you are having with the new Outlook. They consider users complains and work on it in subsequent updates.
Regards, Rita.
