I am 70 years old, and definitely do not know what you are referring to, I do not play with any settings etc. as I don't even know where to go or look, what I do knowis that I am sending out emails, but they are going to clients twice in sucession, Even if I send myself an email, it comes through twice. I really don't know how to stop this Help please. Thanks

    Hi Margie,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand your concern with duplicate emails. There are various reasons that could be causing this problem, with one common cause being a specific setting in Outlook. This setting may be saving a copy of sent messages in both the Sent Items folder and the Outbox folder. To verify if this setting is the root of the issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Launch Outlook and navigate to the File tab.
    2. Select Options.
    3. Choose Mail.
    4. Scroll down to the Save messages section.
    5. Ensure that the "Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder" option is enabled, while the "Save copies of messages in the Outbox folder" option is disabled.

    Regards,
