    Hello,

To sync your calendar between Outlook desktop and Outlook mobile, you should ensure that both applications are connected to the same Microsoft account (Outlook, Live, Hotmail, or Office 365 account). Here's a step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth synchronisation:

Verify Account Setup on Both Devices:

On your desktop, open Outlook and check the account you're using (go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings). On your mobile device, open the Outlook app and make sure the same account is added. Check Network Connection:

Ensure both your computer and mobile device have a stable internet connection, as syncing requires an active internet connection. Enable Calendar Sync in Outlook Mobile:

In the Outlook mobile app, go to Settings. Find your account and ensure the sync setting for the calendar is turned on. Refresh or Sync Manually If Needed:

Sometimes, especially if you've just made changes, you might need to refresh or sync the calendar manually. On the desktop, you can click "Send/Receive All Folders" in the Send/Receive tab. In the mobile app, you can pull down the calendar view to refresh. Update Outlook and Mobile App:

Ensure you're using the latest version of Outlook on your desktop and that your mobile app is updated. Updates often fix sync issues. Check Calendar Settings:

Ensure that you are looking at the correct calendar in both Outlook desktop and mobile. Sometimes, multiple calendars might be present, and only the primary one might be syncing. Restart Applications/Devices:

If syncing is not happening, try restarting both the Outlook desktop application and the mobile app, or even the devices themselves. Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant Tool:

If you continue to have issues, Microsoft's Support and Recovery Assistant tool can help diagnose and fix problems with Outlook. Contact Support:

If the problem persists, contact Microsoft Support for more specialised assistance. Remember, syncing may not be instantaneous, especially if you're dealing with a lot of data or a slow network connection. Patience is key, but if it seems like the sync is taking too long, these steps should help identify and resolve the issue.

    Best Regards, Saurabh

This came to light for me when using Outlook on my P.C. (in Office 2021) when I tried the "new outlook" and found that mail and contacts appeared, but the calendar did not. I then found the same using Outlook on 2 fully up to date android devices. My email is a Sky account (Yahoo) which does not support Microsoft Exchange format, it only supports POP/IMAP which cannot sync calendars - could this be what is behind it all?

The Synch calendars toggle is greyed out or unreponsive on my Samsung S22. The mailbox seems to be synched ok most of the time but sometimes folders show as empty but the inbox is usually ok, Please advise. Thanks!
