I was testing this further, and a workaround is to disable Shared Calendar Improvements, How to enable and disable the Outlook calendar sharing updates - Microsoft Support. If you are able to test this and confirm, please let me know.
Problems with sync Gmail calendar to Outlook
Hello,
I was using gmail calendar in Outlook for years but now I have problems with synchronisation in new computer. Outlook is legal, after trying to sync internet calendar Outlook send me back error "Sorry, something went wrong. You may want to try again." I've tried it many times, but always with the same result: Gmail calender is visible, but only with some events (namedays and sent invintations to me, not mines). And in the Accounts settings there is no internet calendar even If I could see one in the list My Calendars.
In internet Outlook it goes well when i add Gmail as a new Gmail Calendar - but I can see it only in internet calendar, not the Outlook in PC. If I try as an ical synchronisation it goes the same way as above - only namedays and sent invitations.
Please, give me an advice how to solve this.
Thank you,
Jana

2024-04-11T21:52:41+00:00 Jana,
Can you please try to open an Outlook In App support ticket for Classic Outlook. To do so from Outlook Desktop go to Help, Contact Support and complete all the dialogs until you get a ticket number. If you only see help articles, then you do not have Contact Support. If you don't have it but still willing to open a ticket, I will contact you through forum moderation and get your account to add that option from the service side. Let me know if you want to work with support on it further.

2024-04-04T07:37:20+00:00 Hello,
I've tried removing and adding again many times. I've tried on Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2402 Build 16.0.17328.20124) 64-bit and also on the new version Microsoft Outlook 1.2024.327.300. On the new version was synchronisation succesfull and I can see all events but it's passive - with no further synchronisation, I cannot see new events at all.
Best regards
Jana
