2024-03-15T01:29:01+00:00 Dear Jenna Unger,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "how do I find SMTP and Port # for my Microsoft Exchange account?"
I checked on my end, these options are not accessible via File > Account settings > Account settings > Change > more settings and then Advanced, as they are for IMAP or POP3 accounts. These settings are automatically applied when you set up an Exchange online account in Outlook.
Basically , these settings are:
- Server name: smtp.office365.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption method: STARTTLS
Refer to Server settings you'll need from your email provider - Microsoft Support.
I hope the above information is helpful. Please feel free to let me know if there are any updates or if I've got you wrong. If still have any concern, please let me know so I can provide further suggestion.
