How can I delete an email by simply pressing the Delete tab on my keyboard. I don't want to respond to 'Are you sure you want to delete these emails?'

    1. Go to files in the left-top corner
    2. Click options
    3. click advanced
    4. Look for other option and then select unselect prompt for message confirmation

To all with this issue, I believe I have found the solution.

    1. Open settings from the top right hand corner.
    2. Select Mail from the left pane.
    3. Select Message Handling
    4. Under Action Confirmations, Uncheck confirm that the action was successful.
    5. Save Selection

This should remove those annoying confirmations.

    Hope this helps.

The New Outlook does not have the File tab. So, how do I get rid of the Delete Confirmation box when deleting a message in the New Outlook?

I've already tried that. Doesn't help. This is such an annoying problem. I've spent all afternoon grappling with lost functionality in "new" (but not improved) Outlook. So many shortcuts gone. So many settings that are invisible now. It's like Microsoft found the lowest-common-denominator users and just decided to make an application for them. I hope it gets better from here. The only reason I'm willing to work in new Outlook is it's the only way to use Copilot on the desktop client. Even with Copilot, I'm not sure I can resist the efficiency gains of going back to old Outlook with all of its configurability.
