I received an important mail which automatically went into junk folder. I marked it as "not junk". Now it does not appear anywhere. I checked the inbox, delete items, restorable items, drafts & junk. It's nowhere to be seen. How do I find and restore it

    Dear Mayuresh Vadhyar;

    Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

    Based on your description, I understand that you have a concern "Email marked as "Not Junk"disappeared from all folders".

    If you have marked an email as "not junk" and it's not appearing in your inbox or any other folder, it's possible that the email has been permanently deleted. However, you can try the following steps to see if you can recover the email:

    1. Go to the "Deleted Items" folder and check if the email is there. If it is, you can move it back to your inbox or any other folder.
    2. If the email is not in the "Deleted Items" folder, you can try to recover it from the "Recoverable Items" folder. To do this, go to the "Deleted Items" folder, click on "Recover Deleted Items From Server" in the "Home" tab, and then select the email you want to recover. Click on "Restore Selected Items" to recover the email.
    3. If the email is not in the "Recoverable Items" folder, it's possible that it has been permanently deleted. In this case, you may need to contact your email administrator or Microsoft support for further assistance.

    Let us know if you need any further help. I would really appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Microsoft Community Moderator
