My signatures in the New Outlook is misaligned, and none of the formats from the old outlook are transferred (color, font size). All screwed up.

There's also a table that I saved in the signature at the Old Outlook. But it just doesn't work in the New Outlook, The borders at the table is gone, and the texts are all over the place.

Thank you.

    Hi Jo Philbert,

    Good day.

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist.

I understand that dealing with email signatures can be a bit tricky, especially when transitioning to a new version of Outlook some signature maybe impacted try to copy the signature from the old outlook and recreate it in the new outlook .

    Manually Recreate Your Signature:

    • Consider creating your signature manually in the new Outlook. Here’s how:
      1. Open the new Outlook app.
      2. Click on the gear icon (settings) at the top right to access options.
      3. Select the “Accounts” tab and then choose “Signatures” under the Email Accounts section.
      4. Pick the signature you want to update from the dropdown.
      5. Make your changes (including formatting, colors, and font size).
      6. Hit “Save” to apply the changes2.

    Table Formatting:

    • Unfortunately, the new Outlook may not handle tables in signatures as well as the old version. If your table borders are missing and text alignment is off, you might need to manually adjust it.
    • Consider simplifying the table structure or using alternative formatting (such as plain text) to ensure better compatibility.

I hope this helps let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions .

    Best Regards

Can microsoft stop releasing garbage half ready products and force users to transition to them? We look completely ridiculous and unprofessional with our email signatures now. Infuriating to be replied "jsut remake it manually" "tables aren't handled as well" why create a new product that's worse than the old one!!??????

I am encountering the same issue and finding it to be extremely unproductive. The new Outlook seems to have been released prematurely with incomplete features, particularly concerning changes to signatures. Due to formatting issues, copying and pasting signatures from previous emails does not replicate the colors and format accurately.

There are numerous issues with the new Outlook, and the changes have also made it more challenging to use the old version. Furthermore, the old Outlook frequently freezes and this forces me to use the new one. I am concerned that Microsoft may be at risk of losing a significant number of users due to these persistent issues.

    Get it together!!

Sorry, but I use emails for business exchanges, and quality/design is extremely important.

Not being able to get, at least, what was in the previous version is simply unacceptable.

Any tool that could be used to export/import signatures from the old to the new interface ?

The New Outlook is a total Joke. Looks like a bunch of school kids have released it.

Unpredictable and glitchy behavior, synchs poorly, handles shared mail boxes very poorly, terrible options for pictures, formatting has so many glitches... list goes on and on and on... and yes, the signatures options are absolutely garbage. Interestingly the templates given by Microsoft on their own website also DO NOT work with the new outlook. You can try paste in signatures and it messes up the format or would not paste the image at all.. lol
