Hyperlink not showing up in New Outlook

How do you do this when you have removed the File tab in outlook.

My company has the same problem too. I was able to finally find the settings section of the New Outlook (click the three dots next to the account and select Manage Account), but there's no Trust Center. Even if you search the settings for Trust, it says "We couldn't find any results". So, this answer from Microsoft comes from someone who's not even using the new Outlook to solve the problem. Another useless answer.

In another post on where to find the Trust Center in the New Outlook, this was the answer, "the New Outlook is a beta version and it is basically a web-based application and some features are still missing."

Viewing the hyperlink before clicking it is an important step when checking if an email is phish or not. But Microsoft seems to think clicking hyperlinks to see where they take you is safe, and I can't find a solution other than switching back to the Outlook Classic and preventing my company from using the New Outlook.

As you ALL know, the update to outlook has disabled the hyperlinks in emails. WHY? And where are the instructions to fix this?

I have not updated the version of windows

I have changed nothing

I have a mac

Everything was fine before the update

No it isnt the browser

None of the instructions to fix this even come close and dont even relate to the new version

and nothing else has worked.

Why on earth isnt there an instruction sent out when they change this ?

In business its very frustrating when 23 people send in a fix and none of them even come close. You would think that the thousands of people all with the same issue would be able to email a company for a simple instruction to fix their lack of communication

So, how do I get the links in my emails to work?

Hi! I have the same issue. I'm using the new outlook and I can't open the links, they have to be copied and pasted. Also, I don't find “File” > “Options” > “Trust Center” > “Trust Center Settings” > “Automatic Download” Thank you,

shes right, this tab is gone and you cannot find anywhere the trust center

and do you working on this issue or is this now the new "Feature"

cannot post a link on an intern file or folder -> thats total annoying
