Outlook keeps crashing in the middle of composing an email, then reboots and the message says "We're sorry but Outlook has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Outlook will need to be closed as a result. Would you like us to repair now?" I click yes but same thing keeps happening and I just keep getting the same error so Outlook is unstable.?

Hello, I had already done those steps, and the problem continued. I found that by disabling a shared calendar, the problem was fixed. I made some tests, and when I enable the shared calendar separate from my calendar everything works fine. When I join them into one in overlay mode, that's when Outlook fails.

hope this helps to another people.

    Dear Jeff Milcz,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you're experiencing issues with Outlook crashing repeatedly. This could be caused by a number of factors, such as a corrupted Outlook profile, add-ins, or a conflict with other software on your computer.

To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:

    1. Try open Outlook in safe mode to disable any add-ins that you may have installed in Outlook and see if the issue persists.
    2. Check for any available updates for Outlook and install them.
    3. Create a new Outlook profile and see if the issue persists, see Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support.
    4. Repair an Office application using the Control Panel.
    5. If none of the above steps work, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Office.

If you're still experiencing issues after trying these steps, please let me know and we can explore other options.
