Awful decision!!! Terrible when working on a laptop.

My vote is to CHANGE modify the system to allow it to open in the program!!!

    Hi,

Personally I don't like this feature. Having to download a file to open it in the correct app becomes very time consuming, if a lot of your work depends on doing this over and over again.

Also I don't want to download and then have to delete every single file.

Can an option be included in the settings to allow for automatic use of the correct app when opening files from Outlook please?

    Thanks.

I fully agree- its a headache not to be able to open it in the app and save it to the destination required

Accepted this is a way it can be done, however from the 'preview' window this is a several click process.

    > Save As

    > Downloads? ok... Save

    > Open Explorer

    > Downloads

    > Open

Previous version of windows would of done all this, saving to a temp folder, in one double click. Bring back the double click to open in default app.

Why don't you let the user decide what's safe and not safe? It's a waste of time for me to have to do this and I should have the option and be able to accept the risk if I so choose. It's fine to have it set to default but I should be able to choose if I want the file to just open!
