This is not a solution for Office 365. We are all asking for the time stamp to be added back to the Inbox view in O365.
Thank you, and have a nice day!

Hi. This question was answered here: Display both Date and Time in Outlook - Microsoft Community but it applies to specific folder not all messages that are received and moved to other folders.
I need to know how to make this setting as default that it shows it as Wed 04/09/2024 for example, each received message should show it this way.

Hello AlonaFA**,**
Good day! Thank you for posting on Microsoft community.
I can understand your concern where you want to modify the date format for each folder. please correct me if I am wrong.
As my colleague mentioned, to show the date and time in the message preview, you can go to View > View Settings > Format Columns > click Received under Available fields > select your Format > OK> OK.
This is for specific folder, you are right.
If you have modified some specific folders, then I must suggest you click on Reset Current view. so, it will reset back to the default version which had same date format for each folder in outlook.
You can also add fields by clicking on Columns.
Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
Thanks for choosing the MS community.
Looking forward to your response and have a great day ahead!!
Sincerely

I face the same problem. The only option available under View Settings on my Office365 Outlook Email is Layout settings. Where is the Format Columns option that you are referring to in your above answer? I would like to format so that my emails have a date stamp in display in my Inbox view, particularly the emails in a single thread, I want to see the date stamp for each email that is part of a single email thread. How do I change settings so that it displays this?
Hi,
You provided instructions for specific folder. My question is how to do same but for all folders, so I do not have to go into each folder to change this. I would like to make it default that all e-mails have the following info in parenthesis (e.g. Fri 04/19/24 5:39PM)
I do no have the option to format columns under view settings. I do not have a date column. How do I add that to the inbox?
