Sent emails no longer appearing in Outlook sent folder

My sent emails are no longer showing up in my sent folder. I have made no changes to my computer, account settings etc. They were saving there last week and today they are all gone. I have logged into my gmail account and they are there. I have tried the troubleshooting tips (unchecking the save sent emails, closing, reselecting, rebooting etc) but nothing seems to work. Any other suggestions? The only thing I can think of is something changed with the latest Windows update.

    Hello Eleni,

    This is a recent problem. It is current, happening right now. Microsoft Outlook, not in the App, but in a web browser online. Needs to be addressed. Settings are correct, haven't changed them in years. Mission critical for business, don't have time for these kinds of errors. As a former MS OEM system builder and a MS user for 30 years with an original Hotmail account, I expect better. Please fix it. It shouldn't require even one input from the user.

    It is now October 2024 and I am having the same problem. Can it be that in 3 months Microsoft hasn't found a fix for this problem in a basic feature of Outlook email. Without a reliable Sent folder, it is difficult to find past sent emails.

    This is still an occurring problem - I have been looking for a fix for the last month and a half.

    Microsoft need to fix this issue!!! We need access to our sent mail!!!!!

    This recently began happening with me as well. Not only do I no longer have a Sent Items Folder, but also lost my Drafts folder and Deleted Items folder! When I go to account setup to check all my folders and whether I'm subscribed to them, everything looks line. This has caused major issues in my business. I am NOT a happy camper. I KNOW I am losing business, because these flubs are making me come across as unprofessional. Looks like I need to consider moving off the Microsoft 365 platform and go full bore into Google Workspaces. Who would've have thought MS would sink to this level of poor customer service? Too much time trying to get a piece of the AI pie. How about taking care of products you've already been selling in the marketplace that are theoretically stable and ready for prime time? So VERY disappointed. I've been a staunch Microsoft advocate for decades. I feel as though this is the end of an era....

    Exactly the same here. The conversion from old Outlook to new Outlook is completely ignoring Sent items, it will not export mine over. Lost my signatures too. Switch back to old version - all still visible, switch back to new version, nothing. Mine upgraded automatically 05 Sept 2024.
