    Clive Perkins,

I agree with you the actual version of Outlook tries to block the non-Microsoft mail providers with various means. The "new outlook" is Winndoes 11 is a nuisance, I hate it and will avoid it.

I have exactly the same problem and i notice the replies have stopped have you managed to get it sorted out?

I think your statement below is spot on

"Is my conclusion correct that the actual version of Outlook simply does not like the non-Microsoft mail providers and tries to block them with various means."

    Regards Clive Perkins

I was confirming it was your address and not the recipients address (although it could be both).

Do you have a Support button on the Help tab? If yes, use it. If not, leave feedback instead.

    Hi Diane,

Thank you for the quick response. My e-mail address was correctly quoted: ******@gmail.hu.

The service provider has a website: http://gmail.hu. I've been using my address for years and the problems have now started when I bought a new laptop with Win 11 and Microsoft wants to use the "New Outlook".

The system accepted as correct my configuration as correct . Letters arrive, but my e-mails do not go out with the error note I indicated.

I had removed the account and added it back to no avail. The question is what means the 453b failure code.

    Sincerely,

    Laszlo

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

    Your address is @gmail.hu ?

That error indicates a problem authenticating with the outgoing server. Try removing the account from new Outlook and if asked to remove it from, all devices, say yes. Then add it back.

Let me know how it goes, I'm here to help you further if needed.
