I'm having the exact same problem right now. It's a joke trying to get an update. The hackers now have more information on me then I know about me. And microsoft are allowing these hackers to get into our accounts and steal everything from us and doing nothing to prevent it. How does a hackers have more control over outlooks email accounts then microsoft themselves?? It's laughable

    Hi New Name,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

I can't get a handle on your situation by case number, it looks like you've contacted online support and filled out an account recovery form, these didn't resolve your issue.

Filling out the account recovery form is the only thing you can do if you have lost your account's password, and verification method, I know that's not the answer you're looking for, I can only give you some help to improve the success of your form review:

    • Fill out the form on a trusted device
    • Fill in as much account-related information as possible: subscriptions, personal information, outgoing email headers and contacts, passwords used for the account, which are important criteria for the review.
    • If you are not sure about a question, you can guess the approximate answer, it won't affect the result.
    • You can contact realistically known email contacts to get information about the content of the email.

If things aren't what I say they are, I'd like to know what's going on with your account:

    • Is the account password known?
    • What authentication method is owned? Email, cell phone or Authenticator?
    • Is double authentication turned on?

Hope to hear from you soon

    Best regards
