Dear Alison Mitchell_195,
Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.
I understand that your need to unblock your account is causing you distress and I understand how you feel.
According to your description, you entered the captcha with the message: temporary server issue.
- You can try tochange your network and use your cell phone network to log into your account.
- You can try to change the device, such as: your family or friends of the cell phone, computer.
- You can try to change your IP and browser (Edge is recommended, if Edge doesn't work, you can use Edge's InPrivate mode).
May I ask if you have an alternate method of verification, such as another email?
You can log in to the account by using an alternate email for verification, and select the alternate email for verification when you do so.
If you have other authentication methods, go to
https://account.live.com/proofs/manage/additionaland select "Show more authentication methods" or "I don't have any of those" when you need to authenticate. "You can use another authentication method or wait 30 days to reset your security information. Follow the prompts to add the new security info to your account, and after 30 days, you'll be able to log in to your account using your new credentials.
You can try contacting customer support and asking if there are any other methods:
- Open the website: Contact - Microsoft Support
- Enter MSA in the box below "We're here for you", click "Get Instructions", and then click "Contact Customer Support" below, (this status must be logged in to your Microsoft account, if you haven't logged in, you can follow step 3)
- In this section, you need to sign in to your personal Microsoft account
Note: You can only log in with your personal MSA, and you can't display the correct content when you log in with your company account. If the account cannot be logged in, you can use another account or create a new account to execute;
- Select "Other Products" in Products & Services, select "Manage Account Security" as a category, and click Confirm
