Outlook New still don't show desktop notifications on Windows 11

I have been using Outlook (New) for Windows 11 for a very long time and a few months ago I stopped receiving notifications. I get notifications if I use the older Outlook or Windows Mail version. I have heard that many people have this issue so I would like to try my luck in case the right person can read this and help. Some of the things I have tried:

  • Repairing, resetting, and uninstalling Outlook (New)
  • Turn on and off notifications on the desktop and the app (all of the combinations) and restart the system after each change
  • Make sure I don't have "Don't disturb" mode
  • Make Outlook notifications a priority even for "Don't disturb" mode
  • Remove and add all of my email accounts

Nothing has worked so far, I only get the small envelope icon that I got an email, but I have to check all of my email accounts one by one to see which one received the email.

The version is: 1.2024.124.100 (Production)

Same problem here. Event reminders for 365 have all stopped for some unknown reason. I think this happened last week after applying a windows update, but not sure why.

    1. July 2024 and I've tried EVERYTHING!

    Nothing worked for me!

I get notifications on every single app, also Thunderbird (which I de-installed recently.)

So, it seems a Bug or else, I don't know. Using Desktop PC Windows 11 pro and I'm an "Update-Searcher" person, so everything's uptodate.

    Curious, innit?

I tried all above and it didn't work until I found that I had my notification style set to None. Even if you have your notifications enabled, but notification style is "None", you will not see them. After I switched to it to value other than "None", it worked.

Likewise! My desktop notifications for Teams and other apps have not been affected so it’s definitely a bug or glitch somewhere. Hoping Microsoft can resolve soon….
