I checked my outlook and found all my emails were gone. I had really old ones too and I don't know if anything important was in there. I was going to start going through them but now there's nothing. What happened?

    Hello Valarie,

I understand how frustrating it can be to discover that your emails have disappeared from Outlook. Let’s work on this issue together. Here are some steps you can take to investigate and potentially recover your missing emails:

Check the Junk Email Folder: Sometimes messages get mistakenly marked as junk. Look in your Junk Email folder and see if the missing emails are there. If you find any, select the message and mark it as Not junk.

If you have Focused Inbox enabled, check the Other tab. Sometimes emails end up there instead of the main inbox. If you find any missing emails, move them to your Focused inbox.

Verify that the missing emails are not in your Deleted Items folder. If they are there, you can restore them. Keep in mind that messages removed from the Deleted Items folder are recoverable for 30 days.

Ensure that you’re not filtering your message list. Adjust your filter settings to display all messages.

Confirm whether you’re accessing your email from multiple devices. Sometimes an email client on one device might delete messages. Check all your devices to see if any of them inadvertently removed the emails.

never had a good experience with MS. but company uses it so im stuck with it.

ms outlook deleted all emails when company updated software. worst experience ever. not sure how anyone became a billionaire pumping this refuse as software.

now im also trying to go back to classic email look and feel but the toggle switch disappeared as well.

    disappointment all around using MS.

i notice every now and then my old better version of email pops open. then the toggle is there to "try new" and i avoid using the "new" like the plague. the old one is better looks more modern. why my old email is intermittent.? can't figure out why ms thought bringing back the 70s look and function would be appealing.

tolerating MS outlook software as best possible under the circumstances.

My emails stopped on April April 2, 2024. I don’t use Outlook. 2 devices: IPad and computer. I don’t know how to find them.
